The 2020 pandemic ushered in a new format for events. Many discussion-based events transitioned to an online format. While a simple lecture didn’t require complex feedback, a conference or discussion with multiple participants required not only feedback across each channel but also synchronization of both audio and video. Therefore, each such event required a dedicated connection plan, depending on the number of participants, the video conferencing platform used, and other factors.

Each online event was supported by a team consisting of a broadcast director, a videographer, a sound engineer, an editor, and an on-duty technician.
